As a psychotherapist, I strive to develop close interpersonal relationships with my clients in order to facilitate a deep healing environment. In exploring old and new material, I will help you to tease out negative belief systems and patterns, experientially become grounded in your self, heal traumatic wounds and deepen your ability to bond with others. My therapeutic approach is flexible and therefore in varying degrees I integrate both psychodynamic, cognitive, EMDR and hypnotherapy for both individuals and couples.

So what is my style of therapy? How will you feel in the room with me? My clients remark at how comfortable they feel with me. This minimizes feelings of anxiety and shame that naturally arise from the therapeutic experience. I listen and support you as you work through difficult material but also I make therapy a dynamic, open and interactive process.

Because of my nutritional expertise, it is a natural segue for me to specialize in mood disorders, eating disorders and addictions. I find my clients do significant work in therapy and make remarkable shifts in their day-to-day emotions and behaviors.
